How A Prisoner's Plea Came About

I had a poem entitled, I Stand In Awe placed on Deb's Spot On The Web. The Managing Editor of THE HAPPY HARVESTER saw that poem, and sent an email requesting permission to use it in a future publication. THE HAPPY HARVESTER is a monthly publication, going out to prisoners and to others.

I had been praying for all incarcerated prisoners for several years. Therefore, when I got this email I was totally overwhelmed with JOY. Now I could do more than JUST PRAY!

After drying my joyful tears I sent her an email giving her permission to use that poem and I gave her the URL to my new Christian Web Site.

That night I went to bed thankful and excited. I fell asleep praising God for such a wonderful opportunity to be useful in the prison ministry.

During the night lines of poetry came flowing into my mind.

I got out of bed and wrote them down............ A Prisoner's Plea was born!
