A Tribute to My Father

Who is my special Father so loving and so kind?
Who is the very dearest I could ever hope to find?
Who arranged blessing just waiting to be received,
And loved me abundantly even before I was conceived?
Yes, Who planned many things especially for me?
Who is that great ONE? Who could it be?
Who gave me directions so I could find my way?
Who is always with me, both night and day?
Who sees my pain and listens to me mumble
And looks down with compassion whenever I stumble?
Who listens as I apologize and humbly confess
That I'm a weak sinner and my life's a big mess?
Who soothes my nerves as I'm about to unravel
And gives abundant graces to continue my travel?
Who then reaches down and picks me up,
And offers me a drink from His overflowing cup?
Who mends all the pieces of my broken heart,
And provide sweet comfort and a brand new start?
Who always loves me, no matter what I do,
And tells me I'm special and very precious, too?
Who sent me a Savior, and a Friend so grand?
Who holds me in the hollow of His loving hand?
Who's the Dearest Father I could ever hope to find?
Who's heart is compassionate, forgiving and kind?
There's no one except My Father in Heaven above
Who deserves to be honored with my undying love.
So, I give glory and honor to my Father today
And I pray He'll be GLORIFIED on every Father's Day!
