If you haven't played golf with this fellow named Bill
You've missed a very special, and wonderful thrill
For Bill got overwhelmed when it was time to play golf
'Cause he didn't understand the meaning of "Tee Off"
So when Bill stepped up - to "address" the ball
He provided a hardy laugh - for One and All;
Standing near the ball, he looked down and said, "Hi!"
Then he hit the ball and it flew through the sky!
But it never came down - even close to the GREEN...
It is certain his golfing skills - are NOT too keen!
"He got a birdie!" Bill heard someone say;
So Bill looked up... but it must have flown away!
It definitely isn't accuracy that gives Bill top score;
Competitor's laughed so hard their sides were sore
Laughing at his "wit" - their eyes filled with tears
Giving them worse scores than they'd seen in years!
So,
Come play Golf with a man full of "wit"
You'll take home memories that will never quit!
