II Chron. 7:14 "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land."
If we look to the Lord He will use the difficult times to draw us back into a closer relationship with Him than we've ever had before.
Wait upon the Lord - Seek Him!
Lam. 3:25 "The Lord is good unto them that wait upon Him, to the soul that seeketh Him."
Deut. 4:29 "But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul."
Jer. 29:13 "And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye search for Me with all of your heart."
Trust God:
Ps. 46:1-2 "God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried away into the midst of the sea."
I Pet. 5:7 "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."
Prov. 3: 5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heat; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path."
Ps. 32:8 "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."
Ps. 51:6 "Behold thou desireth truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom."
James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and unbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
Seek a contrite heart:
Ps. 34:18 "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."
Ps. 147:3"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."
God's Promise:
Ps. 147:10-11"He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy."
Ps. 110:1 "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy foot stool."
Ps. 20: 7 "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will trust in the name of the Lord our God"
Ps. 11:5"The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth."
II Thess. 2:15-17 "Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and behold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work."
